Signs are among the many things I photograph in Italy. Road and street signage for Historical places of interest are always in brown. Quite often noteworthy historical buildings will have a sign on or near that contains historical information and at times in English as well as Italian. Capturing such signs is a great way for me to keep track of the story behind places of interest I photograph. Often it leads to more research via the internet.
Note to my JPG friends: Following a long hot summer at my home in Dallas, I head back to Roma this coming Sunday. Though already missing family and home here, can't wait to see Fred and explore more of Italy.
