A: Do you know?

I ran past this scenery around 7 p.m. on a Tuesday night. I ran without my camera and missed a sweet crisp, sunset over the marina. I decided I was going to go back to that same spot around the same time within the same week to capture that same moment. When I went again, it was overcast and barely showed the details it did when I went about two days beforehand. I was also being eaten by mosquito bites. I couldn't resist that sunset though. The clouds were a little lower than the mountain and the sun crept right over the top of the mountain just enough to peak through the clouds. It gave me enough light to highlight the details I needed and to shadow the foreground.
Sometimes when you think something is ugly, it can be something beautiful.
