These folks just had to take advantage on a lull in the rain to get a bite to eat. This is who I saw.

A squirrel, doves, cardinals, a blue jay and I was able to get their picture. . There was also a flicker, a house finch , a sparrow, and a brown thrasher, and a Carolina wren, a tufted titmouse, a white breasted nuthatch,a chickadee that did not get their picture taken but they were their. Hummmm. It would make one wonder if my cats were bird watching and not Storm Trackers as they TOLD ME!!.

Again the cats were not telling me the truth. No surprise there !! Of course this is not that great of a picture, but its now a memory of Tropical Storm Lee.

Sept 4 - as we wait for another round of rain bands - the cats are again at their post in the window and I see the same array of birds. The same VERY mixed group. A few of the smaller birds were eating from the hanging feeder.

Pretty smart birds and squirrel to slip in while the going was good! It looks really wet in this shot..

This must be a great tease to your cats! LOL! A wonderful haven for birds, esp during bad weather.
