But we all with open face beholding as in in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the spirit of the Lord...II Corinthians 3: 18
A black- capped Chickadee
Behind the window screen
Hopped unto the olive tree
Only briefly to be seen.
Not much time elapsed,
Ere' the wings flapped...
Flying as the years pass,
Thru' life's looking glass...
Poetry by me, AJP
Wild birds in their quick journey of life do not let too much time elapse before they fly to their next destination. I compare this to how we go though life so rapidly...
Tomorrow is my 68th birthday...If I had to do things differently I would live the first part of my journey as I am living it now... loving each moment of the day that is granted because at this sequence of time's spinning wheel many things can change..and the future is not ours to hold..But every day it is ours to behold while we are still alive.
Thank you Je suis moi "Gloria" for the generous spotlight.
