It was windy today, making waves and white caps on the new edge of Lake Houston. All of the grasses and sand are normally under water.

I can imagine that for someone like yourself who if familiar with the area this change in the landscape is quite shocking.. hopefully rain will come soon! It's such a beautiful lake and a lovely capture! Just wanted to add that here in my part of Alberta we've been experiencing an ongoing drought for the past three years.. this summer we received about 13 inches of badly needed rain, so it can happen, and I'm sure it will for your area, too..
