Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

When putting down your dslr to shoot video, it's always good to enable this security feature to discourage pontential thieves. ;o)

The real story is that this mantis flew onto my slr while I was photographing it. So out comes my point and shoot......
