Taken at the Perry Sandhills in far south western NSW Australia, I spent several hours wandering around these dunes that rise up out of the completely flat desert country that surround them. Due to the unusually high rainfall in Autumn the dunes were covered in rare desert flowers, a very rare sight so the locals informed me. I was very pleased to turn up at the right time to capture this once in a lifetime phenonmena
