The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come...
The Song of Solomon 2: 12

The Zinnias, marigolds and the sunflowers offer such cheerful colors and they look even more saturated after the rain we had yesterday. I love to be with them as they give me such peace. This is a wider view from the previous picture...You can see just a little trace of the fog and mist in the background trees that we had earlier this morning...It didn't last too long before it lifted. I am waiting for thicker fog to include with my series before it is completed.

In the Early Morning Light Series photo essay.

Thank you all...That was one of the two hats that I bought Saturday at a thrift shop with my birthday money I received earlier this month...Someone had donated a few antique hats to this shop..Not sure what year they were made, but I love them...They kind of remind me of the vintage hats that you see in old English movies.during the Victorian era. This hat has an elastic band inside of it to wear around the chin so that the hat stays in place...I see very few people in the town where I live wearing hats so maybe I'll start the trend:)

I love the contrasts, including between your outfit and the way your hat pops.

Such beautiful light and popping colors! I do love your hat. I am searching for some from the twenties but the price tag on them is way above what a used hat should be. LOL.
