The fireman is shoveling the coal to build up enough steam to get the train up into the mountains. I was standing in the open car to get photos on this trip into the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado. It was a day long trip with a fabulous buffet lunch at a mountain top restaurant.

What a great shot of the steam being blown out of the boilers. nothing like the clackety clack sound of a steam train going over the tracks. And you certainly had a beautiful day for a train ride. Lucky you Ann.
