If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).

I took a drive to the Leslie Street Spit located near the Toronto harbour to marvel at the Monarchs gathering for their trip across Lake Ontario on their way to Mexico. There were thousands of them fluttering here and there and fattening themselves on nectar. I managed to get a few shots of bunches of them on various types of flowers thinking I would post a "volume" shot for this theme. As I was running through the pics, I focussed on this one because it symbolizes for me anyway, the absolutely solo nature of this astounding voyage. The thought of this single butterfly setting off across the vast expanse of water in the background is more than breathtaking. We really have no conception of what a road trip is....
