This is the spot where Mama cat is buried. I have buried many little creatures here. Jake the dog is not here as I have his ashes inside, but they both died with in a month of each other so his name is on the Cross. They died in 2005.

Our animal children really fill our hearts when they are here but there is a huge emptiness when they go. A sweet tribute Gloria.

A wonderful moving gesture by you, to create memorials for these very special souls that saunter into our lives for such a short time and leave an indelible impression forever.

Very touching tribute, Gloria. We love all God's creatures and have a perfect right, maybe even an obligation, to mourn their death. I held a little baby mouse and swaddled it in a soft white paper towel while it was dying. It looked right into my eyes. After he passed I shrouded him and dug a little grave under some evergreens. I placed some pretty Maine pebbles on top with a cross from my rosary in the middle. The little guy's name was Joseph. He was just getting his fur. I love them all.
