Dad served in the Navy during WWII. He was proud of his contribution to the war and service to his country. When he died at the age of 92, he had a Navy Escort for his burial. My brothers and I know how much Dad would have been pleased and honored by the escort, standing by his grave in their uniforms and giving him a send off salute.

A wonderful tribute Ann. My brother had full military honors at his funeral and I will never forget the sound of the gun salute.
