Every year, the local animal rescue groups get together and host a big dog adoption event called Woofstock. There are many poor lost dogs there in need of a home. There is lots of fun to be had by all...live music, dog agility, bobbing for hot dogs...
There is a lot of information about adoption, spaying your pet, microchipping, service dogs, etc. I have been lucky enough to be invited the past few years to set up and photograph pets. I will keep going, as long as they keep asking.

What great work the animal rescue people do and having a day like this, many an animal will find a new home! This is a fantastic photo and I love the background where you photograph the animals! I bet this one got adopted, it looks, healthy, alert and well behaved : )

Thank you so very much everyone. This little one was not up for adoption. Many people come to these events with their dogs. I give them a discount on their pet portrait if they donate pet food, toys, or blankets. I do have two on my facebook page that are up for adoption if you are looking for a great dog.
