A Douglas B-23 flights over head at this year (2011) 4th of july parade. The Sun was beating right over head, the bomber came so fast it took me by surprise so I hurried the shot, I thought I got nothing!

Ypsilanti's industrial plants played a important role during WWII building parts for planes like this one.

Carl Kuntze gave props (10 Jul 2012):

Beautiful shot, but I was 11 when Pearl Harbor was struck. I kept track of armament of both sides, and I don'g remember a B-2 bomber. I recall B-17s, B-24s, and B-29s. This seems to appear like a transport. May be wrong.
