Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

And the doors shall be shut in the streets, where the sound of the grinders is low. Ecclesiastes 12: 4

To replace the grout
Between each brick,
The grinding out,
Brought dust so thick,
It floated thru' the air
And o'er a worker there..
Poetry by me, AJP

This is the back entrance to the Public Library in our town where I often walk up the flight of stairs to return books that are due, etc. Two days ago it was blocked off because workers were grinding out and replacing the grouts between the bricks ...You can just barely see one of the workers behind the cloud of dust....I immediately shot this image before going around the other side to use the front entrance.

Thank you for the comments...Yes, the man in the cloud of dust is pretty well hidden and I hope he had on a nose mask for protection:) I would be sneezing and wheezing all over the place if I had gotten out of the car in back....I shot the picture through the window, fortunately!

A nice capture of a worker at work. I had to look twice to see him and only because you said he was in the photo! I know when we had a tile floor removed how bad the grout dust was.

A real 'where's Waldo' capture!! I thought at first you were talking about a family named 'Grouts'.

That can not be a pleasant job at all but it will make the library last much longer. Great shooting.
