If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).
Collections are a JPG+ feature. You must be a JPG+ member to create new collections and to add photos to collections.

Thy mercy O Lord is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
October 11, at 5:45 PM the cloud formations were gigantic! I think there was some rain in those clouds as by the next day we had a big rain storm.
I just heard some awful news tonight..My mother fell and got hurt at the Nursing Home...Please keep her in your prayers... She is in the hospital.
Update: Oct. 13...My mother at noon today had a rod inserted in her femur bone and not her hip which was first surmised to be broken (The femur is the thigh bone in the leg that extends from the hip to the knee) which turned out to be fractured. At her age of 102, surgery would not be advisable and the rod method is a safer alternative. Her vital signs are good and the doctors say she is in remarkable physical health for her age, but confused mentally with her dementia.Thank you for your prayers and hopefully she will recover and heal quickly from her injuries.
More Update: The doctor said everything went okay. The fracture of the femur turned out to be a bad one after all and it was an extended one where he had to go into it a different round about way, but he was able to get it taken care of and he said she should be in lot less pain. Mom was in recovery almost three hours...We plan to see her tomorrow which would be a better time as she is still very groggy yet.
