Alwyn Scott Turner said (6 Mar 2012):

The most interesting element in portraits is the degree by which the artist is expressed in the substance of the work, and in self images where the artist is looking into the camera...rather than both photographer and subject identity are revealed through subtle responds... this straight forward self portrait discloses the sensitive self-reflection of a clear perception of reality.
Wonderful composition and shallow depth of field relieves the subject from the background and focuses on the emotional personality....that resonates like a melody in a musical composition....orchestrated with ethereal tones.
Remarkable sense of intelligence and perception.... and a clear view of reality.
