top of the hill

Nighttime, I waited for so long to take a shot of July 4th fireworks. I found the highest spot at a golf course with the view of the whole silicon valley. My tripod is ready and I was so eager to get a good image. I knew that I don't know how to shoot at night time, but I'll just go ahead and hit and miss, point and shoot. Then, the sprinkler just went on as if in queue when I'm all set up! Have to run and take cover, put the camera, including the tripod under my shirt and run where I can not be reached by the fury of the sprinkler spreading up to 20 feet radius! Patiently waited for it to stop and when it did, the fireworks was done. Then I thought of doing an sp for the sake of it with the tree and the moon and the wires as a background and this was the result. Kind of spooky to me, I don't know what I did.

Anyway, happy holloween, everyone. Hope you had fun giving treat or trick! I did.
