Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

In the grand scheme of things... yes, insignificant. Vail trip. What this looked like from my vantage point was a Lego guy shoved down into a snow drift between ginormous pine trees from some other building toy. This, to me, is a great 'dimensions' shot.

This could almost pass for B&W if not for those two bits of red. Fabulous POV, and the vignetting really enhances the shot. Definitely gets my vote.
