Q: It seems that there is a very narrow selection of images in VS. Why

A: Do you know?

This building was once part of the Armour Meat packing complex in Fort Worth Texas. The building was converted to a refinery in the 60's, hence you see the mix of 1900 style with 1960's. This building is slated for demolition by years end (2011) I took this at 8 am with the rising sun lighting the building. It is imperative that we as photographers take time to photograph these buildings before they are gone!!!

Agreed! I'd like to go back to Alaska to shoot some of the hundred year old fish canneries that lie in remote coves. Amazing places with belt driven machines that nobody has touched in decades.
