Roses placed on a grave in Woodlawn Cemetery, Santa Monica, California. Usually I take photos of mortuary statues, such as angels; however every single angel in this cemetery had pieces missing, usually pieces of wings, as if the vandals were crying out: "If I can't fly, neither can you!" These three roses are my visual prayer for those lost souls.
