My one regret about our trip to America, was the fact that I did not have a wide angled lens to take with me. I did look before I went, but they were just too expensive. However, when seeing the Grand Canyon and other amazing landscapes in Arizona, I really wished that I had been able to afford one. However, on reflection, the Grand Canyon was so vast that even with a wide angled lens I think I would have struggled to do it justice.
We were very lucky to have snow on the day that we visited, and to get up early enough to watch the sunrise over the Canyon. It was an amazing sight and so great to share with our new friends. Which made the experience even more special.
This is my favourite landscape shot at the Grand Canyon, I just love the fact that there are clouds in the Canyon, amazing, however, as we were 7000 feet above sea level, hardly surprising I guess.

Lynda, this is gorgeous.....lovely capture of the colors and clouds, and the majesty of the Canyon. You DID do it justice, even without a wide-angle lens.

I too wished for a much wider lens but like you, I don't think there is one wide enough to capture all that glory. Beautiful shot my friend.

Grand for sure!! I love the way you cropped it. It appears to be a wide angle shot! Beautifully done, Lynda!
