Mother and son are looking at the child's discovery of the day. The boy is in a long dialogue as to "why they must stay longer at the Seattle, Washington beach." He wants to fine the perfect pebble to put into his orange container before they head home. Mom is coaxing boy into heading home because the sun will soon be gone and it will be cold. She has dinner to make and things to do. But she can't quite pull her son away from what he is doing because she knows it's a fond memory- which is worth feeling the shivers over! Mom has finally come to realize that the best things in life are not "things," or "finished chores," but rather cherished memories.
