I had a hard time picking something for this category as 90% of what I shoot is of this nature. However this sight is such a rarity.
I took this the day after Hurricaine Juan ran over Halifax. When I was lining up the shots a severe, late 30's managerial-type wearing a paper hat sauntered up to me. The entire city was shut down, trees were sticking out of buildings, sidewalks upturned, but he was there. Probably wandering around inside thinking 'Shit, Ronald'll be PISSED if he comes in to inspect us today!' Lucky he was there though... to 'grill' me on why I was interested in the 'Golden Arches'. He was very protective. I patronized his little management ego and got away without being arrested.
