This holiday season has been hard. Thanksgiving I found out my mother has advanced stage 4 cancer. This past Saturday I moved her to Hospice care.
Xander is my air when it is too hard to breath and the world feels like it is crashing down. I hold him and he smiles at me and everything is suddenly lighter and bearable.
He keeps me moving forward and rediscovering the simple joys in life, like meeting Santa for the first time.
