Q: It seems that there is a very narrow selection of images in VS. Why

The church of San Galgano, completed around the end of the 13th century, is one of the best examples of Gothic-Cisterian architecture in Italy. Though this impressive structure no longer has a roof, the acoustics remain incredible. During the summer months, a series of operas are performed there. A yearly Christmas Eve service is also held there. This gorgeous abbey is a short drive from where Fred and I lived in Tuscany.

WOW! What an incredible place. The modern seating looks so out of place.

Beautiful shot and the lighting is incredible from front to back which is taking in a big area...You even caught a man walking in between the column

San Galgano is a wonderful church, long neglected because of the collapse of the shell. And 'all the books mentioned in the history of Italian art and is well known, unfortunately so far I've only seen in photographs, a serious lack! Thanks for your great dedication.
