We stopped by to wave at the Queen on a chilly, drizzly morning, but alas, she was away at Balmoral (in even chillier Scotland).*

*Found out later that the Queen was at Sandringham...chilly there too.

    I love those happy faces!! The royal family loves to go to Balmoral for their vacations. It was Queen Victoria's favorite I think. They raise and lower the flag to show if the Queen is in residence or not.
