If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels...
Where did the time go?...It seems like only yesterday that we got married with a
candlelight service at the United Methodist church in the small hometown where I grew up...(population is still around 210)
The picture was getting faded with age but I brightened it in my scanner program and cropped it..A studio photographer shot the pictures for our wedding book and if I am remembering this correctly he charged us a little over $100 ...My wedding gown with long veil was a little over $100 also. I remember that the gown I bought at a store named Johnson Hills had to be altered to fit me as it was too big around the waist and every where else. I wish I had that problem now. LOL
The bridesmaids dresses were around $60 each...My sister was Maid of Honor and our sister-in-law was Bridesmaid..The friend who was going to be our bridesmaid backed out at the last minute for other plans but thank goodness the dress fit my sister-in-law perfectly who took her place..Two of my husband's brothers were Groomsman and Best Man The cost of living has gone up since then and the prices of course are much higher now than they were in 1969 for wedding pictures and wedding attire.
