To every thing there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven...
Ecclesiastes 3: 1

Skate boarding in September
Brings purpose to movement,
And a reason to be limber...
Giving time to remember,
The season's fun moments!
Poetry by me AJP

I shot this diptych of two pictures through the car window September 17th of this same boy skateboarding. I could not help but notice his technique and his concentration to complete his goal in the short span of time that we drove past him and it only took a matter of seconds..

There are different meanings of fluid in the dictionary, such as in
Smooth and flowing; graceful: the fluid motion of a cat , etc...I thought this
young fellow was very graceful, keeping his balance while tilting the board and not spilling a drop of his pop he is holding:)

Well captured, and perfect for the theme! We have a skatepark nearby, and I am always amazed at the abilities of the kids as they perform these feats!

Thanks for your comments..I had forgotten all about this sequence of the skate boarder that I shot in August when we were driving by..and decided to use it.

Great entry for the theme!!! The skateboarders have to have great balance and concentration to do the maneuvers !!!

You did an awesome job stiching these two shots together. I can hardly tell at all. This does take me back. My oldest was a skater. You rarely saw him without his board, often in pieces from his latest stunt.

this is excellent. i would think that wood on the sidewalk would be a hazard, but it looks more like a challenge here. nicely done!

This is a great diptych, very well done!! I almost got run over by a skate boarder in the city nearest where we live.. so I've had a bit of an attitude ever since.. but you really have to admire their agility.
