In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul...
Psalms 94:19

This little guest
Uses the suet block
As a back rest.
It is a bit of a shock
That he prefers corn,
And treats the suet block
With disdain and scorn...
Poetry By Me, AJP

Maybe it is because my husband used an onion bag to wrap the suet block in, that the squirrels are waiting for the onion odor to disappear before they attack the suet as part of their diet plan. LOL ...We'll wait and see...In the meanwhile the birds tell us they are very happy they don't have to share the suet with the squirrels, at least for now:)

This is a cute photo of the squirrel using the suet for a backrest! It definitely prefers the corn, at least for now. I wonder if it is the onion odor that is causing it to shun the suet?

Thank you for the comment Ann....I am sure that is the reason why the squirrels are avoiding the suet for right now.. because they love it otherwise...But right
now they are content with shelled corn and sunflower seeds.

LOL I told my husband earlier that next the squirrels will be demanding a chair to sit on with a hole to poke their tail through, while they are eating their food...
Yes, they are getting very round in the belly LOL We are supposed to have snow storm tonight and he has been preparing himself for bad weather.

This is just the sweetest shot! He looks very comfy and well set for whatever winter may offer up. I miss having our squirrels at the feeder this winter, for some reason they're not coming, but it might be the huge number of spruce cones they collected last fall.. our garage is full of
