Living the childhood that was apportioned to me and my siblings was something no one should have to endure. The ripple effect is astounding. The innocent lives it reaches forward to grab is something none of us are able to escape. I photographed the house as it stands today so I do not forget. So that I stay vigilant within the long shadows it casts.

The house was empty when I took the photo. Your comment about the demons is something I have always considered. Does the evil engraft? How can it not?
