The ride seems very small in relation to the square of the "Prato della Valle", in fact the square is huge

88,620 square meters. and Europe can compete in size with the "Red Square" in Moscow. Surely it is more beautiful and elegant, featuring an island green plant called "Island Memmia" of a channel surrounded by an elliptical shape decorated with a double stand of 78 numbered statues of famous personalities from the past. The project is due to "Andrea Memmo" in 1775, which reclaimed the area, creating a culvert allowing the construction.

In the background you can see the immense amount of the basilica of "Santa Giustina" with adjoining Benedictine monastery, was martyred in 304 AD in Padua. Is the eighth-largest church in the world (122 meters), and its eight domes make it visible from great distances. The interior is vast and bright is one of the greatest masterpieces of Italian Renaissance, is a Latin cross, and this is divided into three aisles by huge pillars, light enters through the windowed cupolas. The façade remained unfinished statues of marble and had planned to complete it.

With the basilica of San Antonio near Padua they can be proud of grandeur and magnificence of its most important monuments.
