I Miss My Baby
My very special kitty that I rescued from my yard. She slept with me in my bed for 6 years and had the sweetest temperament. She was my shy flower. I lost her in the spring. We struggled together for three months before I could finally let her go. She had kidney failure and my husband and I gave her IV's of fluids every other night. There is no doubt in my mind that there is a kitty heaven and she is there. But me, I am here and so lonesome for my Baby.

Understand the feeling. BTW a female red tabby is a pretty rare thing they are mainly males for some reason. My sleeping cat is Princess who I rescued in 1995. She sleeps with me every night and as she gets older I don't even want to think about her leaving me.
Anyway thanks for sharing. -

Nothing heals the heart more than another rescue. I know.

Thanks for the comments. I have 5 housecats, two of which I rescued from my yard. The other three my son left with me. I would rescue more, but my husband has put his foot down. I love my kitties, but Baby had a special place in my heart--as do all of our children, right?

It kills me to read this, you should see the tears streaming down my face right now. I'm such a cry baby, dang!!! What a beautiful cat,and I can understand the loss and emptiness you feel. You and your husband did more for her than she could have ever expected, because you loved her so dearly. Thanks for sharing this touching story of grief.God bless.
