Throughout my early childhood my late mother used to dress me a lot in the color red as she claimed it looked best for my dark hair and eyes......I decided to do a self portrait next to her touch lamp this afternoon, (as one more attempt for the color red challenge.)
I thought about mother as I did this self portrait of how much she had and even after death has influenced my life...

Red definitely looks fabulous on you. I like how the lighting makes your hair glow in the back. The lamp does look very interesting, it will be nice to see it featured in a photo sometime.
