The beautiful water under the tree filled cliffs of Doubtful Sound stayed still long enough for me to take this image. We had pulled into this little cove, switched off the engines of the Navigator and tuned into Stillness. Far off the double voiced sound of the Tui came to us. No reply returned to him. It was an emotional time for all on board. I did Have to take a few quick images, just to remember this moment. The trees receded into the high banks of clouds that almost always shroud this part of our southern West Coast of the South Island. We were lucky to go when the waterfalls were in full voice, after a period of rain. Umpteen shots to choose from. Thank you for sharing.
