First came across this man, laying down on a dirt pile to the side of a busy road in Mamallapuram, India. As I walked closer, he caught sight of me, sat up, held his hands out to beg for money, so I gave him some coins. Then, I asked for one more shot and this is the result. This is such a common sight in India...

    Yes it is not only a common sight, but a huge photographic con. They know people want beards and headdresses. If you had spent a little more time with him, he would have spoken at least 5 European languages.
