Amazing how a scrap piece of 2x4, a screw, a scrap piece of a shim, and a hand full of marbles, can provide so many hours of fun. One of my sons (now in their middle 30's) made this in shop class. And all the kids passed it around on lazy days. Now, the grand kids are playing with it. I must be a bit of a pack rat, cause I still have it!
So many children these days spend so much time "plugged" in, it is refreshing to see them want to play an old fashioned game!!

Great shot of a prized heirloom. Value is not whatn went into a thing, but what you get out of it. ;-)

Awesome shot, and what a terrific keepsake! I agree about the kids being plugged in (as I sit here listening to my iPod, talking on my iPhone, and typing) LOL

I love the old games too Betty. Much easier on the eyes than the electronic games. Great photo and entry!
