A car load of us from Occupy Omaha traveled to Lincoln Nebraska along with 2 busloads of other like minded individuals to talk to each senator in relation to a LB 239 meant to restrict voting for people who do not have a drivers license or state ID. Some 130,000+ folks are affected by this proposed legislation most of them being poor and not able to afford the $28 for an ID...

Speaking with a senator from Omaha on a MLK Occupy the Dream event we hosted I learned our efforts tabled the bill and it never made it out of committee.

This photograph was taken early in the day outside the meeting room we were using in preparation for the days events and is of 5 people walking down one of the long hallways on the 1st floor.

I love this! To me it symolizes the isolation one feels when approaching our elected officials about important issues.. I have spent many hours being shuffled by them in my work to have new internet stalking and harrassment laws passed and getting the exhisting ones enforced. Everyday, my stalker is at work but many of our officials don't seem to be. I wish they had her obsession. LOL.. Great tones, love the shadows!!!
