“It’s funny how something so unplanned can be captured in a seemingly uncanny way. It prompts you to take a closer look at how this shot came about…A story slowly unfolds as the girl (based on her nail polish) with the mirror starts to shift uncomfortably in place as the placing of the right foot above the left one suggests, and I guess the woman in the reflection makes such story all the more dramatic. It made me ask myself whether such unprompted passing by of the woman from ‘who knows where’ is just sheer luck or purely artistic genius? I believe the latter is more like it. It makes you wonder what happened before the shutter clicked. “Life is all about timing… the unreachable becomes reachable, the unavailable become available, the unattainable… attainable,” Stacey Charter was never wrong when she said this, and I couldn’t be more right in saying this quote fits this shot like a glove.”
