Great use of a wide angle, something rare in sports photography but when you're close enough it can be spectacular!

I love shooting action in wide-angle! It's a technique I learned to appreciate from my fiancee who has been a professional photojournalist for years. I started my digital career in DX format and stayed with it for several years before she turned me on to FX shooting. What a difference!
