On September 1, 2007, I received a call from my youngest son telling me to grab my camera and get down to the field. They were going to teach the kids from the Blind Academy to play paintball.
I have personally dedicated a lot of my time to different organizations and know the feeling one gets when helping to do something good in a world that is ate up with ugly. I was happy that for that day, my son and his friends, would have that feeling. It was thrilling to see the the kids from the academy and my kids have such a great time.
Would you believe this is the only time on the field that I have not been shot? LOL.
