Today my wife and I drove forty miles from our home on the Saddle Road between Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, the two highest mountain in the Hawaiian Island. We were at about 6000 feet elevation. It had snowed up there on the peaks of both mountain and we went up to view the snow at a closer range. The snow was glorious, but I am sharing this beautiful cloud bank. On the right is the slope of Mauna Kea and the 'bumps near the center of the image are pu`u or cinder cones.
