I saw this fresh wash hanging out to dry down a narrow street in an ancient section of Cairo, and it struck me as "objet trouvé", or "found art". One of the precepts of Objet Trouvé is the artists "designation of it as 'art", as I have done, as a photographer. I thought it could have been an art installation in any fine gallery, muted colors, the 'picture' the clothes make hanging randomly, the facade of the building...Roy
