This old Volkswagen was the company car for the California Western Railroad. The railroad line
was called the skunk train because the fuel was so stinky it smelled like skunks. The rail is now used for tourist to take day trips through the California redwoods from Fort Bragg to Willits.

I don't think I have seen a skunkmobile before either...Is it named that because skunks were living in it? LOL Great find and entry!
