The young bull moose calf who was running behind its' mother and sister has finally played out. I felt so sorry for him, he was completely winded and looked very dejected. They probably had been running at a steady pace for several miles already.
The cow moose kept a watchful eye on him.. she and the other calf stopped to wait until he got his breath back again.
