For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, .for we are also his offspring. Acts 17: 28
The cows move around...
When snow is on the ground.
Soon human being and Holstein
Will be seeing spring turn green:)

I shot this picture from the passenger's side of our car today.. At the time I was experimenting with the flash off (museum mode) of my camera which I had never used before while the car was moving.....and was surprised how well it worked for shooting pictures out of a car window while the cows were also moving. It automatically set the shutter speed at 1/500 sec. which froze the action. Normally I use manual but sometimes don't always get sharp results through the window when the car is moving or going over a bump on the road as it changes the focus...

My camera doesn't have that mode. Intriguing! This is well done. I keep thinking how cold the feet and hooves of the cows must be.

Thank you for the comments...Donald ...It is basically used in museums and other locations where flash photography is prohibited..Produces natural results even when lighting is poor ..) Actually it is called Auto flash off and you most likely have that on your camera also...For some reason the" flash off" (museum mode) worked better for me yesterday than just using auto which sometimes does not want to focus through glass...the lighting was conducive yesterday for using auto flash off as it was overcast and dreary.

A beautiful capture of these lovely holsteins. Very much in focus! I love the 'flash off' feature, too. It really comes in handy at times, especially when the lighting is iffy, my camera tends to automatically turn the flash on.

My camera doesn't have that mode either. It did do a great job. A wonderful winter scenic.
