The phrase "the bee's knees", means the height of excellence or of the highest quality. It became popular in the U.S. in the 1920s. This was a Very BIG bee. Not only did I get his picture, but the first blooms of my old Wisteria. The Wisteria bush is over 25 years old, and is as beautiful as ever...
