    For me, the sharp focus on the hair shifts the emphasis from the face--which is what we expect the image to be about--to the hair. So what could that suggest (the fact that the focus is on the rather untidy hair rather than the beauty behind the mess). To me it suggests that life is full of the struggle to keep order and not always tidy and beautiful. I'm sure there can be more profound readings than this.
