...Lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off....Genesis 8:11

Creature comforts is not her game...
But just the same, she came...
To feast upon the Olive tree
Every squirrel alive knows
How to pluck a leaf or three....
And hang there by their toes.
Empty space was her seat
While with grace she ate her treat....
Poetry by me, AJP

This little Fox Squirrel wasn't too worried today as she balanced herself strategically between two branches. She was in a horizontal position to begin with sprawled across a branch but then she suddenly changed her position and I got this shot through the window...She looks like she was suspended in air and in a sense she was...

Up close and personal!! This is esp. good for a through-the-window shot. Your squirrels look like they are well fed!

Thank you for the comment....They are very well fed, Donald...and are eating
constantly...They are first at the feeder and the last to leave:)

Thank you everyone... it was a hard shot to focus through the plastic weatherizing on our window but actually Leslie that's what gave it the look of treatment and it acted the same as if I used a filter....
