I came across a rough legged hawk perched in a tree and stopped for some shots when it flew up and over a nearby raven's nest. The raven immediately took chase and and they were across the sky like a pair of fighter jets..

I would say the hawk and the raven are evenly matched for one another for size ...Amazing shot and wonderful eye to capture this phenomenal pair in action.

Thank you for your comments! .. it was an amazing sight to see, totally unprovoked actually, but the raven didn't realize that and it was enraged. I think it has eggs in the nest, which is huge, and was being very protective.. I felt sorry for the hawk who was just reacting to my presence...
